When you receive an order notification and dispatch the order, it's important to confirm the dispatch to ensure the smooth processing of the order. Here are the steps to confirm dispatch for an individual order:
**Confirm an individual dispatch for one order:**
1. Go to "Manage Orders" on Amazon Seller Central.
2. Locate the specific order you want to confirm dispatch for.
3. In the "Action" column for that order, click on "Confirm dispatch."
On the "Confirm Dispatch" page, you will need to provide the following information:
- **Dispatch Date:** Enter the date when you dispatched the order.
- **Carrier Name:** Choose the carrier from the drop-down menu.
- **Delivery Service or Delivery Method:** Select the delivery service or method used for this shipment from the drop-down menu.
- **Tracking ID:** Enter the tracking ID provided by the carrier.
- **Ship-from Address:** This should be the actual address from which you dispatched the order.
You also have the option to enter any special notes about the order in the "Seller memo" field, but this is optional and for your reference only.
After entering the required information, click on "Confirm dispatch."
Please note the following important points:
- If you purchased delivery through Buy Delivery Services, you don't need to confirm dispatch manually as it's done automatically.
- After you confirm dispatch, Amazon will charge the buyer for the order, credit your seller account, send a dispatch confirmation email to the buyer, and update the buyer's Amazon account with the dispatch information.
- Failure to confirm dispatch within seven business days of the dispatch availability date may result in the automatic cancellation of the order. Amazon will not charge the buyer in such cases.
- It's recommended to enter tracking information as soon as the package is handed over to the carrier, as it can take up to 72 hours for changes to be recorded.
- Providing or updating tracking information post-delivery will be counted as a Valid Tracking Rate (VTR) defect.
Additionally, please be aware that tracking information is essential for various purposes, including A-to-z Guarantee claims, qualifying for exclusive programs like Premium Delivery options, and ensuring the smooth handling of orders. Make sure to provide valid tracking numbers for your shipments to maintain a high level of service.
