The Buyer-Seller Messages page in your Amazon Seller Central account allows you to communicate with customers when you need more information to complete an order or to respond to customer service inquiries. Here's how you can contact a buyer:
**Using your Seller Account:**
1. Go to the "Orders" tab and select "Manage Orders."
2. Locate the specific order you want to contact the buyer about.
3. In the "Order Details" column, click on the name of the buyer when it is available. This will open the "Contact Buyer" page.
4. On the "Contact Buyer" page, select the appropriate contact reason that matches the order status or product category.
5. Compose your message in the provided message field.
6. After completing your message, click the "Send" button to send the message to the buyer.
**Using your Email:**
1. In the "To" field on the Buyer-Seller Messages page, copy the buyer's encrypted email address.
2. Open your email client and use the copied encrypted email address to contact the buyer. The buyer will not be able to see your actual email address.
Please note the following important points:
- These steps do not apply to canceled orders. If there are discrepancies or questions about the cancellation process, the buyer should contact Customer Service using the "Contact Us" form.
- If there are delays in your email provider sending messages to Amazon, it may result in delays in the Buyer-Seller Messages page reflecting those messages.
- It's essential to ensure that the email you send to a buyer comes from either your registered Buyer-Seller Messaging email address or another approved email address. Messages from unapproved email addresses will be rejected. You can resend the message after enabling the email address you want to use on the Messaging Permissions page.
By following these steps, you can effectively communicate with buyers to address their inquiries and complete orders while maintaining compliance with Amazon's messaging policies.
