If you're an individual seller on Amazon, you should be aware that the Order Cancellation File feature is available for Professional sellers only. However, if you want to cancel one or two orders, you can still use the Manage Orders feature.
Here's how to use the Order Cancellation File for canceling multiple orders if you are a Professional seller:
1. Download the Order Cancellation File template, which is in Microsoft Excel format, from the Order Cancellation Template page.
2. Open the downloaded Excel file, and you'll find a spreadsheet template.
3. Edit the spreadsheet to include the order details you want to cancel. Ensure that you follow the required format and include the necessary information for each order you want to cancel.
4. Save the edited Excel file as a tab-delimited text file. This is an important step because Amazon's system requires the file to be in this specific format.
5. Go to the Order Cancellation page on Amazon Seller Central.
6. Upload the saved tab-delimited text file containing the order cancellation details.
7. Amazon's system will process the file, and the specified orders will be canceled accordingly.
Please note that the template may contain validation macros to help you complete it correctly. You can choose to enable or disable these validations, but it's recommended to keep them enabled, especially if you're new to using this feature. The validations are designed to ensure that your file is formatted correctly before submission.
Remember that this feature is specifically available to Professional sellers and might not be accessible to individual sellers on the platform.
