The Similar Products Details tool on Amazon is a valuable resource for sellers to track and compare their product prices to those of similar products in the marketplace. Here are some key points about using this tool:
**Adding Similar Products:**
- You can add up to five similar products per offer in the Similar Products Details view.
- To add similar products, you can search by product name, keyword, or ASIN. When you find products you want to track, click "Add products for comparison" to include them in your list of similar products.
**Removing or Replacing Similar Products:**
- You have the flexibility to remove or replace similar products from your list. To do this, click "Remove from comparison" next to the product name you want to remove.
**Similar Product Median Price:**
- The similar product median price is the middle value in the range of prices being compared among the selected similar products. It provides a sense of the average price point among those products.
**Similar Product Minimum Price:**
- The similar product minimum price is the lowest current price among all the similar products you're comparing against. It helps you identify the lowest-priced offerings among similar products.
**Availability of Median and Minimum Prices:**
- Median and minimum similar prices are calculated based on the similar products you've added for comparison. If you haven't added any similar products, you won't see these prices until you configure your list of similar products.
**Tracking Similar Product Prices:**
- You can view and track the prices of the similar products you've configured for your offer in the "Manage Inventory" section.
- Under the "Price and shipping cost" column, click "View more" to access the Similar Products Details. Here, you can add, replace, or delete similar products as needed.
By using this tool effectively, sellers can monitor and adjust their pricing strategies to stay competitive in the marketplace and potentially increase sales by offering competitive prices compared to similar products.
