Beef and Vegetable Stir-Fry

Ingredients:

  • Beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced: 1 pound

  • Broccoli florets: 2 cups

  • Bell peppers, assorted colors, thinly sliced: 1 cup

  • Carrots, julienned: 1 cup

  • Snap peas: 1 cup

  • Soy sauce: 1/4 cup

  • Oyster sauce: 2 tablespoons

  • Sesame oil: 1 tablespoon

  • Garlic, minced: 3 cloves

  • Ginger, grated: 1 tablespoon

  • Cooking oil: 2 tablespoons

  • Green onions, chopped: For garnish

  • Cooked rice: For serving

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the marinade.

  2. Place thinly sliced beef in the marinade and let it sit for 15-30 minutes.

  3. Heat cooking oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.

  4. Add marinated beef to the wok and stir-fry until browned and cooked through. Remove beef from the wok and set aside.

  5. In the same wok, add a bit more oil if needed. Stir-fry broccoli, bell peppers, carrots, and snap peas until they are tender-crisp.

  6. Return the cooked beef to the wok and toss everything together until well combined and heated through.

  7. Serve over cooked rice, garnished with chopped green onions.
